Ideally, I get involved in the process early creating a collaborative approach to the process, from conceptual design to project completion, working closely with the owner to evaluate preliminary estimates.
I listen carefully to their wishes, making recommendations as they make the best decisions with their budget. My goal is to help them create the highest value for their home. Not only am I the owner's builder, I am also their advocate. I have purposely kept my company small, and my clients appreciate working directly with me.
I am the sole owner of Cowan Construction, and I am also the project manager, estimator, and accountant for each project. This streamlines any communications during the construction process and is more efficient. The homeowner's appreciate having to make one phone call.
I build with the same craftsmen that have helped me successfully complete projects over the last several years. There is a cohesive environment among them, which results in a team approach and mutual respect for the other persons work, as well as open communication between themselves, the owner, builder and design team.
